Pick-Your-Own Apples!

We offer Pick-Your-own apple events on Fridays and Saturdays between September 5th and October 25th. We have our farm stand open with our fresh cider (spiced warm cider when the temperatures cool down!), a selection of up to 45 different apple varieties, as well as apple, peach, and pear butters, canned peaches, and applesauce! Check out our Facebook page for the most up-to-date information on events! This year we will be offering horse drawn wagon rides through the orchard; come check it out!

Orchard Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides

U-Pick in the orchard starts Saturday, September 6th, 2025!!!!

We will be offering our Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides through the Orchard every Saturday this fall (and stay tuned for some special Christmas Opportunities as well on December 13th and 20th!) Information can be found on our Facebook event pages and by calling us at 570-485-3086.

Just picture riding along the orchard this fall in a horse-drawn carriage, the smell of autumn in the air and fall leaves dropping all around. Sounds amazing, right?!

Horse Wagon Rides will be available every hour from 10am-4pm with reservations available at the 10am, 1pm, and 3pm time slots. Call Sara at 570-485-3086 to make a reservation or for more information and availability. The 11am, 2pm, and 4pm slots will be available for walk-ins. Prices will be $15/adult, $12/child under 12, 2 and under lapsit is free

Educational Farm Tours!

Here at Green’s Fruit Farm, we are always working on something new to integrate new cutting edge technology and more sustainable practices on the farm. We are now happy to offer fall educational tours in September and October!

During our tours you will learn things like…

  • How we use insect trapping to determine management

  • Our Pheromone mating disruption to reduce spraying

  • Our NEWA (Network for Environment and Weather Applications) weather station for disease prediction and management

  • Orchard renovation: How we plant new orchards with the most sustainable practices.

  • Pollinator habitats and more
